The Story
A war for the soul of a city.
In the late 1970s, Italy is a war zone. Bombs detonate in train stations. Magistrates are gunned down in broad daylight. The line between politics and crime dissolves into smoke and blood.
Hunted by the authorities and left entirely alone, he makes a desperate run for the Swiss border, culminating in a bloody mountain shootout that will forge him into the legendary, untouchable underworld kingpin known only as “The Monk.”
